Eccleston Village Hall overlooks the water meadows and the River Dee. It was built by the Grosvenor Estate in 1927 for use by the community as a village hall and has been used as such ever since. The Ofsted registered Leaps and Bounds Pre-School use the hall five mornings a week. Regular weekly use of the hall includes childrens ballet classes/ Yoga Classes / Adult Ballroom dancing classes and VivaArgentina Tango dancing classes. The hall has become a favourite venue for wedding receptions and takes bookings for a maximum of 9 receptions per year. It is regularly used for village social events, children’s parties and family celebrations. Visiting Brownie groups have used it as a base for holidays to walk along the river and for trips into Chester. Charitable organisations use it for lunches and other fund raising events.
The hall is run by a voluntary management committee and is available for hire by members of the community and beyond.
